As actors, we’re often most comfortable exploring the emotions and traits of our characters. But it’s discovering and applying tactics that can sharpen our work and make others take notice.
In this five-week cycle, we’ll empower you with tactics that you may never have considered as options to win your scene objective. The first four weeks, we’ll develop the scene through rehearsals and exercises with a focus on developing a wide range of tactics within your scene. The fifth week, we’ll perform the scenes for an audience comprised of the entire StoryAtlas studio, including alumni, auditors and guests and every actor will receive an evaluation of their work. The class is taught by director Hunter Lee Hughes whose award-winning feature film debut Guys Reading Poems is winning rave reviews from film critics.
