This month, our StoryAtlas acting workshop tackles the territory of fear and suspicion that’s reflected in so many feature films and shows. You will receive a scene focused on this topic, which we’ll develop over three weeks with an eye towards creating realistic fears and suspicions as an actor. The first three classes are taught by Hunter Lee Hughes (director of the upcoming feature film ‘Guys Reading Poems‘). The fourth week, we’ll perform the scenes for an audience comprised of the entire StoryAtlas studio, including alumni, auditors and guests and every actor will receive an evaluation of their work. Class dates are as follows:
Sunday, January 31st, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday, February 7th, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday, February 14th, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday, February 21st, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. (final performance for the entire StoryAtlas studio)
Location: Hyperion Arts Complex, 2306 Hyperion Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027
